#1 Ines defender here

Ines is the type to plan something like this but she isn't the type to unjustly frame Carcel. Her goal is to leave not hurt him. She's setting up opportunities for him to cheat more easily (tempting him), but she's not planning to hurt him (beyond rejecting his love) or ruin his character. This is why she plans so much for both of their futures (and was even putting extra thought into who would be a proper affair partner for him). Also with her PTSD/trust issues and his history of affairs and behaviour, it's not a surprise that she doesn't fully trust him or herself and is slow to fall in love.
So I think we can relax. Knowing Carcel he will probably end up crying or the crazy lady will somehow insult him and Ines will comfort him or defend him.

Bruh, how is she trying NOT TO HURT HIM????????? She is trying to leave him, whether he is cheating or not. That's the plan. She doesn't consider his emotions at all!

Did carcel consider Ines'es feeling when he used to fuck every woman in sight? He didn't even care to ask ines why she was gloomy, is she unwell or not. He just decided "Oh ines Don't smile at me so imma fuck womens l meet at parties".

Ines is literally in a position of NO power. In her 1st life, she was trapped in a torturous marriage with the prince and could only escape through her own suicide, in her 2nd life she tried to run away and was dragged back to be married off to that same prince. In this life, her family confined her many times and gave her no support when she had a mental breakdown. Her ONLY option was marriage to someone with equal power to the prince which left her with ONE option, Carcel. Now I do feel for the dude, in the fact that he apparently SECRETLY loved her for several years, but I think people keep forgetting his BEHAVIOUR prior to their marriage. This man OPENLY AND VERY PUBLICALLY cheated on his fiance NUMEROUS TIMES, he talked down about her and let others talk bad about her as well, he completely trashed her reputation and made her the subject of ridicule. And then when HE decided that he was going to stop acting dumb and stop denying his feelings, he insisted and pushed for the marriage to happen (not in a loving way might I add, he used his power and privilege to do it). An OPENINGLY LOVELESS marriage, he KNOWLINGLY went into. It's also a marriage that he has complete control over, and complete control over HER (ie. him literally confining her to the house and the staff blatantly ignoring her wishes over Carcel's). The biggest backlash this man can get is his feelings getting hurt, and if someone doesn't return your feelings, deal with it, that's not on them, no matter how cute you are. He's suffering from the harsh awakening that he had an inflated ego, thinking Ines was obsessed with him and would put up with any sort of behaviour and the consequences of his own actions (and yes he does talk about this multiple times in the story). No one would suspect Carcel of cheating if he hadn't made that his whole personality. No lady would trespass and enter a lord's room at a time when it was okay to kill women for no reason, without beyond a reasonable doubt they would be open to an affair. He said himself that he had been approached NUMEROUS times since his marriage to Ines, by women who were looking to have an affair (why? because that's his thing, heck he's still meeting alone with the friend's daughter despite knowing the rumours that could occur because he wants Ines to get jealous). He can only blame himself because he's being judged on his previous actions (something that again he knows and acknowledges). Carcel though cute has only recently started showing interest and open affection toward his wife, hence why everyone is confused by his behaviour and people keep approaching the both of them to have an affair (because why do you suddenly love the fiance you so openly despised FOR YEARS).
Neither party is in the right here but neither party is in the wrong either.
Also, the fact that the worst-case scenario of this whole thing is Carcel gets his feelings hurt or Ines becomes enslaved, raped, and tortured again is pretty unfair to compare and judge. She's literally manipulating him for her survival and the worst she's done is give him several opportunities to cheat and push him towards other women, something he's done himself for the past 10 years, why would she think he suddenly changed after a few months of marriage? (which she has also said she's confused by, she keeps asking herself WHY he won't have an affair like he always has before). She's also gone out of her way to look out for him by performing her duties as dutchess excellently, creating positive relationships with his coworkers, defending him within society and performing her other marital duties.
The only thing she hasn't done is return his feelings, WHICH SHE DOESN'T HAVE TOO AND HE KNOWS THAT TOO. Hence why he's sad and clingy all the time, because he knows he fumbled the bag hard and Ines is a bad B. And again both Ines AND Carcel literally admit fault to this whole situation, so idk how people can blame one over the other. If y'all want to hate on someone, hate on literally everyone else. These 2 wouldn't be so traumatized and have such a messed up marriage and personalities if they weren't surrounded by psychopaths and lived in a shit society. These 2 are an example of victims of circumstance.

Do you read like a plant and never do any deduction? They were 6 and it was arranged by Ines' request. It wasn't romantic, it was merely a contract.

The moral of the story is this man after committing years of adultery and dragging her reputation and name through the mud in hopes of getting noticed. KNOWINGLY, entered a loveless marriage (through his power and insistence). Now he has to deal with the consequences of his actions, which he has admitted MULTIPLE times are his fault. As well as he has to deal with the fact that changing his personality/behaviour for 5 months after 10+ years of crappy behaviour is going to make everyone around him confused (because EVERYONE in society is rn, why do you suddenly care for the woman you openly despised and avoided for so many years) and not trust him (who would fall for someone like that right away?).

Well, we're reading different stories apparently.

Also let's look at worst case scenarioes here
    Carcel= gets his feelings hurt
Ines= gets forced to marry the prince, where she's raped and tortured and will probably die or kill herself again

So to judge someone whose only option is to manipulate for survival (remember she already tried running away, the only choice was to marry someone with status that could rival the prince's and that only option is Carcel) is pretty freaking brutal.
She literally has no power or rights as a woman in that society, she can't do anything. Hence WHY she wants a divorce because she will have some power through an hier.

    Well. For me
Arranged or not.... carcel made comments (badmouthing ines) while funking woman in ch 1.
He was like " ines is soo nun; I like funking sexy woman like you"
while looking at the woman's breast in ch 1

And that made me hate carcel soo much. I puked a bit

EXACTLY "it wasn't romantic, It was merely a contract" Then Carcel will be just fine. Because he knowingly entered this contract marriage and any emotions he feels falls onto himself

And if he's only upholding this, loveless contract marriage. What's the issue with Ines not returning his love and giving him permission to cheat?

"3rd life" and I was talking about the extension/continuation of the marriage contract which is in fact the marriage itself and is the only reason why they got married. Bye bye
