When I first read the ending, I never once thought they died. I interpreted it as just Jooha regaining his memories after the fall. I never once thought they drowned and died. That’s why I was really bewildered when I saw so many posts in tiktok and twitter that they interpreted the last chapter as their death.
Even when I re-read the whole series just now, I still don’t have the impression that they died haha I guess to each our own analysis. ┗( T﹏T )┛

In chapter 92.5 the author said how Dooshik can't swim. And chapter 90 is the actual ending of the story. Ending with them underwater, where Jooha obviously remembers him but- if Dooshik can't swim, is this a hint that they died??
