That happened to me before so I installed Adblock. Doesn't happen now.

Maybe try pressing the multi page button? Since I did this I don't get ads anymore (⌒▽⌒)

I'm using Adblock plus... https://adblockplus.org
And it works fine. You'll need to restart your browser and change the settings...(whether to allow certain ads or completely block them)
Same case on your mobile device...close your browser, wait for a few mins and then open it up like usual. Hope it works since it does for me.
I do remember the first Adblock I installed didn't work for me. Try this one.
(Ps I'm not advertising lol ^^" it's just that it's a great app)
