This 2-shot really had potential to be developed a lot further along the lines you mentioned.
There's actually a continuation to this and it actually explored the things that you said about their relationship! It's not yet translated, but you can easily use a translation app to understand it. You can look up on the potato site to read the japanese raws~ It uses the japanese title and has ch 3 & 4. Enjoy!

I guess it's cool that they're happy together, but unless there's a continuation, this is more like a one-sided love. Making her seriously love him is going to be tough. (Not to mention, if other handsome guys go around, though she may reject them, he'll probably at least be a little anxious.) What made him seemingly unburdened at the start would turn out to be a pretty heavy burden to him later.
"Did you even really love me?" But with a different implication wherein instead of having more expectations, the person has almost zero expectations that it can be worrying.
So... will she fall deeper in love with him? Or will she just be happily with him, but not care too much about anything else? Something might be bound to break, either she falls in love deeper and end up expecting more (maybe not like his exes, but the typical expectation of a person in love.) or he'll be so insecure because she's like a balloon who might fly away if he lets go. I'm guessing the latter might be the case.
