How is it weird? Just because it's in a bl? What if it wasn't in a bl and it's just a young adult raising a kid? Its only weird because of how you see it, which is weird? And the reason why he acts like is kid is because he was never taught, his mother died giving birth to him so we have been alive more then decades and only got into a form of a human because that was the first creature he came across/ met.
