Think about the fact that he is constantly, every second, of everyday, keeping a literal god (I can’t remember but it might even be two gods) sealed. That’s why he constantly loses mana and has to take those pills, it’s also the reason why the god began to escape when he wasn’t able to have the pills. Just thinking about that shows that his mana quantity is freaking mind blowingly large and his spell knowledge and power is just as impressive.
