Basically a person builds a connection to a child (starts off as emotional and builds up to sexual)… coz children have higher suggestability so when they grow up that established connection is used to lower a child’s inhibitions towards things the perpetrator suggests…
TLDR: person (older) “raises” a child to be how they want the child to be (normally with sexual intentions or other things)
