I read from a spoiler thread (which I can't find now for some reason) she's basically already dead in the real world. All that's left of her irl body is a corpse. She's probably already buried 6 feet underground, who knows. The other people from the company she works at that she talks to "in game" aren't actually people, they're like the gods of that world.
