Huh? No he was lying. In the backstory it explains that the priest’s dad would sexually assault him and when he became older, his dad lost interest in him and went on to sexually assaulted another kid(the one who died).

I think you need to reread the latest chapter bro. The priest stabbed and raped the little kid out of jealousy, not the father. It was never shown that the dad assaulted the kid or not, only the graphic scene with the priest.
