Look, I'm all up for supporting authors and despite being old episodes I still read them on webtoon and even buy with coins I earn in events some of the episodes to support the author. Having said that, I hate when translation groups drop this because "it got licensed". Many time the licensed version is not available for everyone, sometimes the translation is bad or gets censored (it happened with remarried empress in English webtoon) or like this one, it's a daily pass series, meaning the last three chapters won't be available unless you pay. Imagine following a series until the end only for the finale to be blocked unless you have money.

I get what you mean, but this time, I heard webtoon sent out a lot of C&D for their series. So I think some groups are just trying to be safe. But I agree, it’s sad when it “gets licensed” and the quality actually drops compared to the group translations.

Ugh, I didn't know that. I really do hate how money-grubbing Webtoon has become. I'm still there only to try support authors but even that has proven to be not only difficult lately but also futile with the low rates they are giving to authors and how demanding they are to them.
