I think she's lying. She has someone she worships more than anything can't say she doesn't have feelings for Luna but if she can raise assassins and then abandon them without feeling then we can connect the dots. Just a guess though I didn't read the novel haha
No Jin was cursed as a baby by those assassins, there was no reason to curse a BABY , she is a problem, those assassins weren’t just to survive, she got plans by herself
Honestly can't remember the lore for the life of me. How on Earth did they curse him though? I can't particularly remember, though I'd assume it was why he was weak the first time around? Can hardly even remember there was regression involved tbh
The 1st life was brief so not much memory here either but he was cursed because he grabbed the patriarchs sword and he couldn’t use mana, but the point is Jin was indeed a target
They cursed his swordsmanship which ended up getting him kicked out of the family and eventually learning magic
He was cursed after going through the sword graveyard selection and choosing the patriarch's sword. He was the only one. And his potential and growth were deemed to be exceptionally high. That's why they blocked his swordsmanship.
I'm pretty sure she tried to kill him as a baby as an order from "that person" that they were talking about before...

i get why the nanny would want to cultivate assassins to protect her own life, but like why send them after Jin?? He's like one of the only siblings Luna has that *doesn't* want to murder/get rid of her like especially after things have changed like this, why would she want to get rid of the next potential clan head of the Runcandels who has a good relationship and even is in debt to her master?? Math isn't mathing.
