I feel it's unlikely the ex is an actual god. He's probably doing the same thing as the MC but with the advantage of being much, much better at manipulating people.

Okay... i feel super stressed about how this is going.... Is he actually a god? Maybe the ex is a god and the ex brought him to the new world? I hope V dies soon he's really scary.
