That’s not true! He was selfish! Even his marriage with Qi yu was out of selfishness ! And he’s always been in love with Qi yu and that was another selfish act to give hope to the poor Pei Xingxu (the man who repeatedly risk his life for this dumb brat and died such a miserable death) and drove him mad like that when he knew no one could replace Qi yu in his heart ! And how he endured all those humiliation in the beginning was unnecessary and pretentious!
Agree.. many ppl feel sorry for uke but he's hypocrite. By the time he left Pei XingXu and follows Qiyu I was cursing him. Why can't he stick thru thick and thin with Xingxu after all he did to him? All because his love for Qiyu.

Liqing still marry Qiyu knowing Qiyu has fav mistress. He saw himself he brought him home from western. And if not because pei xingxu eagerly want to saves him, he could live longer. Instead he gave his essential life pills to liqing and caused his health retorted. When they were under attack, he followed Qiyu back to his country and leave xingxu. They were under attack because of Qiyu. They want to kill Qiyu at the first place but loulan kingdom become scapegoat since Qiyu was in the country atm. When they retreat to his country, they were in love again.
Liqing forget his mission to saves xingxu. It was too late for xingxu when they arrive. Xingxu died in tragedy. My beautiful man died horribly in fire and his country wiped out. Think it carefully, his mistake only "love liqing'' but liqing at the end still choose to be with Qiyu. After all xingxu did to him.. this is the ending the author give us? Who should we blame here? Of course qiyu and liqing. Liqing is also not innocent. He's selfish! I wish it's him to die not xingxu. After all xingxu really don't deserve this.
Wtf!! XingXu died?!! Im dropping this… it was nice reading the parents story but this new couple is trash..
