I initially struggled to grasp the concept of yanderes and the fascination some folks have with it.
But, well, cough, I suppose you can now consider me one of those enthusiasts *nervous chuckle*.
However, in all honesty, I find Siyun to be a character worth admiring. What truly captures my heart is his awareness of his alarming tendencies and it breaks my heart whenever he expresses he's the problem. sobbing ㅠㅠ
It's precisely this self-awareness and willingness to admit his mistakes that make his character so endearing to me.
For lack of a better term I've always sympathized with yandere fans, but never empathized. Comprehended the googoo eyes, but never understood.
