probably the same reason as to why the children hate being around people? since all they talk about is ...their father are the emperor of the whole empire while their mother is the nation's goddess so them being 'normal' probably aren't meeting the citizens expectations and aren't enough to satisfied their hunger for power since they're still in a war? thats what i get from my point of view...but who knows maybe thats not it?
all that i got was insecurity. their children were born normal unlike their parents and felt pressured. i think they only hate their mother and not their father because of fear and their mother was nice thats why they felt comfortable hating her??

They hate their mother because based on that one chapter their father was strict and cruel to them out of work for the mother. Essentially it’s the common case of a man liking the wife only and seeing the children as parasites
Why does her children hate her??? She cares so much for them that even if their father doesn't properly show love for them hers is enough. So just because ppl are talking bad about him he decided he hate his mother?!?! That make zero sense! I need an actual reason for him to hate her!
