Honestly it was stupid move for Limon to not do anything and pretend to be helpless when u're not sure if anyone is going to save u. The knight was busy fighting trolls afar and Inferna is a newborn dragon, did u really bet ur life on a small newborn dragon to somehow win against a giant troll?!? I knew Limon and Chinese dude won't die anyway but if this dragon wasn't a reincarnated adult they could have been severely injured..... He alloweed both of them to be in danger just to keep his real identity

He did not bet anything. He was going to defend himself but MC cut in before he could do it. He only just said he was lucky he didn’t do anything so he could keep his cover longer as well as get to see this. He’s not dumb as shown in the previous chapter, he obviously would not have been hurt even if he didn’t know anyone would protect him since he has the ability to protect himself and is just hiding it. He’s not powerless and he’s smart. It was only a surprise that the MC had that form and it worked out conveniently for him. He didn’t bet anything on the dragon at all and didn’t expect him to do anything, just that the MC butt in before he could do anything. You also need to realize that the prince is likely a red flag and will not be as nice as you want him to be. That’s the point of having that whole scene where he reveals he’s not docile that everyone assumes he is.

Lol in chapter 10 did u see how he was crouching on the ground with Inferna in his hands and crying out in fear?!?! That's obviously someone who was in distress and can't think straight at the moment, u expect Limon to somehow magically fight back with magic or martial arts when both his hands are busy and the troll's fist is 20cm away from his face?!?! Ur life is more important right now 'cause if u die then there's no need to keep a facade, so better tear it off and help urself first. The author obviously just want Inferna to have grand showdown meanwhile let Limon said something bs like "oh that was my intention to act helplessly and i lucked out, got to see my dragon's potential" to make himself tough and cunning. Risking ur life just to keep a facade in front of ur sworn loyal knight and ur dragon is not necessary and stupid, they're ur allies

Bro I think you need to reread chapters 5 and 6. This story is not about a kid who is innocent. In chapters 5 and 6 it CLEARLY shows he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He ACTS innocent and like a kid that doesn’t know any better when he’s actually smart and has big plans. He has power as shown in chapter 7. He was ACTING scared. I don’t understand what you don’t get about that. You don’t read many stories like this do you? I’ve seen tons of stories where a character acts innocent and scared only to turn out to be faking it the whole time. He switched his expression multiple times in the story.

I would suggest you drop this story now since you don’t understand that the kid is supposed to be a red flag and is FAKING it. He doesn’t give a crap about his allies. He does not care aka it wasn’t stupid because why would he protect people he doesn’t care about? In chapter 6 he talked about the dragon and said it was too smart but it was okay to include him in his plans FOR NOW. Implying he was just gonna watch and wait to see what other cards inferna has up his sleeve. I don’t think you’re catching onto or understanding this story at all bruh. You’re still thinking he’s powerless and just a normal kid when the author literally shoved the evidence right in front of your face. And yes he can magically fight back even with his hands full or the monster coming at him, because guess what this story has: MAGIC. It’s common sense that he would use MAGIC in a MAGICAL story. This isn’t set in the modern world.

Ohh you’re right lol, the op literally can’t comprehend common sense despite the facts being shoved right in their face
    ( ̄∇ ̄")
They still think the prince is a powerless and innocent boy that knows nothing despite it already being revealed he’s acting only

Right right, i admit i didn't consider the fact that Limon can fight (chapter 7) and i KNEW he's a red flag (i didn't skip that secret meeting part thank you), but come on how am i suppose to know if he really did intend to kill that troll but missed his chance 'cause dragon stepped in or if he was truly scared?!?? He was like a headless chicken first time in battlefield, was bawling his eyes out and panicking and did nothing at the scene. So i found it hard to believe that he was going to retaliate and author randomly shoved some sentences in to make him sound "badass" and not too boring and weak. Maybe as u said, because i haven't read many stories abt "cunning kid" troupe in manhua so i don't understand this concept....

Chapter 5 and 6 prove he was acting the entire time. He acts like a regular scared kid in front of the public to fool everyone and let their guard down. It’s exactly why his own family are tricked by him and assuming he’s harmless. He purposely acts childish because people would be suspicious of him and be on their guard against him if they knew he was actually smart and sly. How you’re supposed to know is because he already said straight up that he was going to do it lol. He didn’t have to prove to anyone because he only said that in his mind and let the readers know. Meaning he has the capabilities to protect himself.

You know he’s a red flag but still don’t understand he is not just a normal kid and won’t get scared so easily. With stories like this type of kid, many would not be afraid of anything and would be good manipulators- they would only be scared when the mc becomes someone they care about. All you need to know as of right now is that he’s a smart kid that knows what he’s doing and he even tricked YOU into thinking he’s innocent lmao. Even though the author hand fed us the information that the kid was only acting and that’s why majority of readers know he’s not scared for real.

Another easy example of wolf in sheep’s clothing like this is Outside the Law. The MC acts so well as a damsel in distress, weak, and innocent, as well as crying and looking scared. To the point that readers would believe his act. The only reason why the readers could tell he was acting was because the description told the truth right away that he was acting. It was revealed how he actually was and manipulated everything so he got what he want.

Also the prince doesn’t genuinely care for the mc right now. The prince only thinks of him as a tool, the same way he thinks of the knight. They’re both tools for him to use. He also is entertained by the mc and wants to see what he can do. That’s exactly why he said he would just sit and watch. He doesn’t care what happens to either of them
