actually crazy that their situation leads to deeming the FL sister as a "traitor." So she has a form of PTSD blocking memories, that does not excuse putting your sister through more trauma and taking what is "rightfully" hers as it was phrased. You communicate with them and help them recollect what the reality is. It isn't a redemption arc either, it's literally just getting past her trauma and moving past those mental barriers blocking out memories. Neither of them are pitiful either lmao, they have trauma and that doesnt excuse what either did. These spoilers whether copy and pasted or rewritten by you are kinda bad takes, ngl.
Wait then what does that have to do with her twin taking the fiancee? Why was she so angry her sister was getting screwed over. I get the resentment thing but... If her sister was going to pretend to be sick and let the MC shine why hate her. She must have felt something. Why be scared of not telling her she is sick when you gonna kick her out on her ass with nothing anyway. What was she protecting? She didn't gain anything from pretending to be her then kicking her out so, no I don't think ithe title should be "don't trust the MC". The MC was old enough to be reasoned with long ago but they kept up the farce for no reason.
I feel bad for the real abandoned twin the was faking being ill I do. Everytime the MC would visit the twin would just be in the dark room, alone. I felt like she was secretly locked up as her sister shows up and talks about her happy exciting life. But since the twin is a genius... Is she also a psychopath, because knowing everything she chose to watch her feeble minded sister suffer and kick her out. I am not on her side. If the twin was so smart she could have solved the situation any other way, so I don't think she deserves to lead anyone.
The title should be "Don't trust my crazy twin" because there is something wrong with both of them lol.
nah, sister's still an immature bitch. you can't be held fully responsible for what you don't remember. sister should've tried to talk it out instead of sneaking around like they're still 12. getting revenge on someone who doesn't remember those actions and wouldn't even repeat them now when given the chance is dumb and pointless. especially when this revenge includes literally sabotaging the position you were supposed to "deserve", genius heir my ass.
Doesn’t change the fact that she is a bi*ch. if she had problem, say so. The other one doesn’t remember what she did before so make her remember or tell her about it. And no one was forcing her to stay in the dark room and pretend to be sick anymore. If she has recovered then say so. But she just keeps on hating her for what she did as a child and has no recollection. The sister did everything in sound mind and understanding. Can’t blame the FL, it’s not like she stole her sisters life by having an affair with her soon to be brother-in-law, selling all their family inheritance and pretending to be fl to fu*k her life. Blame it on the parents that they did a shitty job at parenting. And the sister, she took everything from her in a pathetic and cunning manner. No sympathy whatsoever.
The title should be “dont trust the mc” lol
So i gathered spoilers in the forum and here it is
Turns out the sister was actually the pitiful one since when they were young FL is the one who is jealous of her cuz she is a genius than her, the FL even pushed her sister at the stair, but her sister forgives her (I think). Long story short when FL tried to commit suicide, the sister pretend led to be sick so the FL can shine more, unfortunately for her, it turns out that the FL can't not remember during those times
From what I understand the sister basically spent most of her life pretending to be sick (possibly with the encouragement of her family) so the FL would stop self-harming. She was mostly in her room and became her sister's shadow. Then their parents and grandpa died and because the FL erased(?) her memories and believed that she's the genius sister while her sister was the jealous one, she forgot about her sister's sacrifice. Basically, everything that the FL had was because of her sister's doing. The sister was the rightful heir to their business and house, but the parents+grandpa(?) decided to let FL play the heir until she gets married and go to her husband's territory, in which the sister would then formally inherit their house. But because the grandpa died and the FL forgot, that would've been impossible to happen. I believe what happened to the sister in the 1st tl was just the accumulation of years and years of abandonment and being forgotten that the sister came to resent the FL. Anyway, the sister then decides to take what was rightfully hers in the 1st tl- the house, the business, the fiancee and kick her sister out. So, I guess that was just the sister being fed up with her situation.
I don't know the exact details but FL was in denial at first but then the grandpa confirms it. I'm not sure whether she fully recovers her memories but she does end up regretting it. Someone says she gets a redemption arc and apologizes to her sister. She accepts the fact that she doesn't have any right to blame her sister and reconciles with her. In the end, she marries the ml and becomes grand duchess while the sister inherits the title and marries her love interest. She then accepts the fact that her sister was really the genius because what took the FL years to learn, the sister immediately understood. And I guess this is the reason why the grandpa never make the sister attend secret training lesson because once the FL marries, the sister would be able to complete her training in just months
