I don't blame everything on Hwan. Middle of the story Chiwoo was in a relationship with a guy who became a comic book villain because he was insecure about Chiwoo leaving, and claimed to love him. Then spent the rest of the story inviting a guy who was not his boyfriend to live with him, ignoring the clear warning signs of mental breakdown in his boyfriend, and finding as many excuses as he could to keep leaving any way he could including death. Like you did everything you knew would break your boyfriend's mind knowing the whole time he was mentally unstable on this exact topic. As soon as Chiwoo got his wish of dating Hwan he didn't really want it anymore. And like fine you didn't really know he was a nutcase and didn't really love him unless he was gonna be healthier but admit it and act like an adult then. End the relationship from that point.
