Wait the timeline of your comment is kinda confusing. So they got together again, Sasya died of old age while Karel committed suicide but they still lived happily. Hmm I think that's more of a bittersweet ending.

ok so i read the spoilers it’s kinda a happy ending i suppose? so they get back together and live happily ever after for a long time until they’re really old sasya dies from old age and karel kills himself to be with him

Soooooo... Many many years later Sasya died from old age and Karel shot himself. It's a HE. And yes , they got together again and lived happily ever after. Remember when Karel said they'll die together and live together. Yeahh..
