The translation there in the last two chapters was a bit bad but I think the plot is that Qin (X) has been trying to free Wang Yi (Y when he was a system guide for X) and it had caused him to be lost in the system's world stories where his soul and memories were scattered. So when Wang Yi made a deal with the cat (who we just now learned was a created existence that was born through Wang Yi when he was a system guide and the cat just missed him it seemed so found him and made a deal with him. The cat has also been hiding the fact X has been messing up the flow of the stories by trying to instinctively be with Wang Yi as he has wanted when he was in his original body with Wang Yi as Y the system guide.
X has been following Wang Yi collecting parts of himself as well as collecting the memories of not only himself but the memories of when Wang Yi was Y while the Cat is hiding the information, not telling the Main System, as well as giving Qin (X) warnings to be careful without us the readers knowing until now. If the existences of X is known to the Main System he'll be destroyed as would the Cat and Wang Yi. All three are sensitive topics that the Main System is unaware of at the moment.
At least that's what I'm thinking is going on. It could be close or entirely wrong since this doesn't have a novel for me to seek for spoiler help D:

Not a problem, I had a few "huh?!" moments as well, but with remembering small key points throughout the series thus far helps keep me on point of the story. I'm just hoping what my thoughts on how it's going is right from how they sort of have been dropping the clues, information, and dialogue they've sort of been presenting.
Safe to say I have lost the plot
