ML wants to churn out MCs any usable value. He's way too calculative.
That, and perhaps he's into shy and gullible boys with suicidal tendencies, lol

I think it's a part of it. Thing is, the MC isn't that hard to controlx you just have to remind him of his dead friends and he'll yield, then seduce him and he'll stop thinking about suicide... if Hyeon wanted a challenge, he should've picked a guy with a stronger personality, someone who would just hate him or wouldn't yield to his manipulations under any circumstances... I love to read something like that, actually
Actually what I meant is that MC listens to him , but do not Fully trust him . Otherwise why won't he simply sign contract as ML suggested?
Coz there's something else in his mind. He wants to end his life this determination of his never changed from start to finish.
Our MC here might be a simpleton but certainly not naive. He knows other party's intentions very well. Listen to his monologues .

I sometimes skip the monologue/dialogue so maybe I missed Yiseon's thoughts on Hyeon, but I feel that even though he understands he's being used, he still wanrs that closeness, and maybe a part of him wishes that Hyeon's feelings were real. At least that's how they show him in the manhwa, he always blushes and stutters in front of Hyeon like he has a crush on him, despite knowing that the Hyeon literally blackmails him and mostly does things out if personal interest.

But if I have to say my most favourite one it's Dark heaven. It's so good , I revisit it every year to refresh my memory.
What I'm reading now is Jinx , Night by the sea , Salvation , Placebo , Smyrna and Capri , Minmotion syndrome , Cry a river , Forest sea , Night song , Missing love , Even if you don't love me , Thirst.
