The initial story doesn't seem too bad, but it does feel kind of rushed. Sara doesn't really question the photographer on why he knows about her connection with Kanon, and the photo being brought up doesn't bring up any skepticism from her on who he is. It makes her feel very passive, just nodding along to every plot point. There's still time to solidify and expand on her character, but she does feel very shallow as a protagonist as of the first two chapters. I won't make any judgements on chapter 2, but I do hope my first impressions are wrong.
