lol I actually really like how the author has written their relationship. Not all relationships are the same, not all relationships are completely healthy. Whats okay and whats not is gonna be different and vary for every individual. The key to this relationship lies in jiri, where he's forgiving and able to be okay (to a crazy extent) with the shit that yuri does. Haha based on comments clearly this would not be okay for others and thats completely fine. The authors stance is very strongly stated in the chapter where they meet with yohan, so I wouldn't wait for the relationship to become healthier by normal standards haha
