Sometimes that's how real people are. Unless you can read someone's mind you'll never know who they really are. It's not such a drastic change in character

Not really, in the last like 30-40 chapters there's been a lot of changes. Like way back around ch 40-50 when Cirrus asked Skylar to meet him at the gas station late at night, he didn't have to but he did anyway which Cirrus found suprising. Back then Skylar wasn't interested in Cirrus but you could definitely see him leaning towards hanging out with him more. Also the school festival/ amusement park etc. I suggest rereading. Rn I am also reading updates every week so you can easily forget what happens the chapters before. I think it's more of him realizing that he's come to like him more (idk how to explain it, Skylar in the confession episode does a better job) he explains how even tho he doesn't have to keep hanging around him since hes no longer blackmailing him, he continues to anyway on his own accord. It's more so a realization of his own emotions than something "new"
Also I don't remember completely but like 20 something episodes ago, in the school festival episodes, Skylar found Cirrus sleeping in the classroom and something happened like he was half awake and did something and Skylar started blushing a lot
It's been progressing into different stages, just more of subtle actions
i think you need to reread this all togheter because it was show pretty warly on that his personality is sweet, he just didnt like Cirus so he was mean to him
still confused as to how skylar's entire personality suddenly turned mushy? like a few chapters ago he wasn't even interested in hearing cirrus out, and now he has asked cirrus out?
