Qiling asked the doctor not to say anything. He went to visit the doctor in secret, but the prince found out about that, but not about the why of it. That's why the prince seems to think that there's something going on between them. Well, him and everyone else, it seems. Remember, the doctor was the one who gave Qiling the osmanthus cookies and Qiling tried to give them to the prince but the prince got all stupid jealous?

It is, though. His friend asked him not to tell the prince or report it, so no record was made. Simple as that. Qiling went there as a friend to see a friend about a medical problem. After which he asked it to be kept a secret. Of course that means that the doctor didn't make an official record of it. I mean, the translations aren't the best, so that might get lost a little, but it seemed pretty obvious. Unless you mean to ask why the doctor hasn't told the prince everything right now when he was called. But if that's your question, it wasn't clear from your phrasing. Please don't take offense. I'm certainly not trying to offend you. Just trying to figure out what I missed or misunderstood.
