I agree.. ppl seems thinking the ending is rush. It actually better like this. Since the uke already said “he didnt promise any forgiveness”, if we willing to wait more for better ending , it will give a tone more chaps and it will get boring afterward. I love how the “incomplete” feeling since we can imagine if they really reach “the final stop” or just “separate”. Bittersweet ending.
