I read some stories like that and people complaint about uke character like does he has no shame he chases seme or seme is bad why seme should be the one to chase why not uke? .ah I m tired of these basic. Stories that people enjoy these days.
Exactly for women in Shou Jo manga and uke in bl it is alwaysss the other one that is chasing, and I even saw somewhere some people have view about it in real life too like a woman shouldn’t ever chase a man if they have self respect, like why !? Why the uke and women should not chase someone they love!? They love them too or so they claims in manga but do nothing and the seme is always the doting one and uke are always the one being spoiled.
I hate it! I want to see mutual pining and loving people that aren’t just an uke or seme or a woman or man but people who love each other in same amount!

It is as if the seme or the ml of story are should just focus on uke while uke focus little on them and focus more on other things same for Shoujo mangas
No don't be sorry I m also same there are certain stories I dropped cuz of same reason seme crying and chasing uke and people be like aww he is puppy I m like man what? He is good person if he chase and cry for uke , and he is bas person if he don't chase uke , wow people's view i can't understand.
