I felt uncomfortable reading this at first knowing their background. But as I read more chapters, I kinda have the feeling that her past is like… A false memory? Or something, they’re hinting us that the dad is good… idk, I’m curious what kind of twist they’ll reveal
I'm not curious enough to keep on reading to be honest, but if you ever finish this story and you remember this comment, i would appreciate it if you told me about it. Hope that really is the case.
I think this is less like he’s bad. I think her memories are real, but more of due to bad circumstances. She is never portrayed in a position to know everything or why he decided to get rid of humans. They said he wouldn’t leave the humans despite not being human.
I feel like she was conditioned into being in the wrong side of history. A spoiler said that she was created simply to kill lucas so its apparent that there's more than what meets the eye. Her father and the gang are painted in a bad light at first cuz we have yet to see how and why cuz the mc is just at the beginning of figuring things out so yea its worth to give it a chance+she has not discarded her intentions to kill lucas so thats enough so it wont seem to abrupt that she had a change of heart or anything

I can't bring myself to enjoy a "family" setting with the people that literally ruined her life, tortured her and killed everyone she loved. I'm tired of this plot when the mc becomes family or lovers with the person that killed her in her previous life. It's too messed up for me.
