i read the novel so spoilers ahead





they will rescue him out of there. eventually they will defeat almudin after that he will run away and disappear in some rural place but shinjae will find him and they will end up together in a relationship (a toxic one)

besides defeating almudin, that's such an unsatisfying ending idk what i expected though

yeah but at least all of them will regret how they treated him and will appreciate him but in their own twisted ways
