This is nothing like a FLASHback, more of a Spin-off story that the author could have made separately for those who wants to read their story. But only after the main story and only add the most relevant parts of the backstory (It's just dragging at this point). The point for an author is to keep a great amount of readers entertained. Not to keep half of them away. I'm starting to forget what happened most of the plot of Ian. It would be harder to get back to his story, the longer the other one takes. I'm not gonna waste time rereading S1 again just to get back on track. And if the author decides to make the whole S3 into back story of the Dragon's brother, then this is really goodbye LOL
