It’s obvious he will forgive him. And that’s not really a bad ending. But to make that ending or story work is how they get to that point. I don’t think the author will make that forgiveness satisfying or deserving.

I’m confused by your reply. You said I’m wrong but basically described what makes the ending/them ending up together bad. If the author wrote the seme more sane, and a whole lot of remorse and making up, going back together would’ve been an easier ending to swallow.
