OK read a bit more (I was like in the early 20s when I first commented).
Imo, ML is too clean. Like his character is ironed out rather well, he doesn't seem to have any sever character flaws AND he's not dumb or a jackas. He's an actual well adjusted person who's super kind and supportive of the FL, and only has eyes for her.
Tldr, he's boring. Like he's perfect and he doesn't really need to be developed any more so he's just kinda there as an accessory. (〜￣△￣)〜
Don't get me wrong! I absolutely think FL deserves a solid person she can count on, with how messy her life is, but ML just doesn't really need to be developed, which just makes him eye candy at this point
