killing stalking and lowkey? 8/10 lmao
I was obviously young, naive, and guided by a 2016 (i think) wattpad wave of profiles romanticizing and talking about said manwha.
I might've gotten traumatized but oh well! That's what internet with no restrictions gets you lmao umm, yeah. I stayed for way too long in the innocent hope sangwoo would ever fall in love ?? well that was something... I left it mid-way, never to be finished.
I didn't like it then, and personally is not something i would re read nor anything similar, it ain't my tropes or topics taste, yet I can't deny that as a much more mature person, this story is very damn interest!
I am not a fan of moral police, and honestly I don't mind problematic themes unless is just a fetish and pwp.
Killing Stalking really dives deep into the most fucked up situations and humans, and dwelves into their live. It's not nice, it's not fair, and it's not saying it's ok. It's a creation that goes deep into trauma, abuse, violence, and just the worst side of humanity. It's a very well done story, with complex characters that in no point are redeemed, and it takes a certain kind of author to deal with these topics and make an interesting story about it.
There are no manwhas of its kind that are not just pure fetish and sex with no plot line, at least that I know. I wouldn't read it again, much less recommend it. It ain't even a BL, but it certainly is one of it's genre
Cool! I read and finished Killing stalking just August this year! I too got traumatized coz I'm used to reading just smut romantic drama kind of yaoi/BL. Killing stalking is the first kind of trauma yaoi I've read and I agree that its fucked up one. I read it coz I always see people in the comments section recommending it. Its twisted style still hunts me,, like after that I read a lot of fluffy ones for therapy (19days is included coz its funny). BUT after reading the fluffy ones, I crave again for traumatic BL's due to Killing stalking influence. I ended reading Pufferfish and dolphins , Moretones ,Niichan ,Fruit of the tongue.
My very first BL is Junjou Romantica. I Read it way back 2011. I read it coz I got bored waiting for the next episode in its anime version. I was actually shocked watching it the first time too coz I taught the main couple will be a man and a woman, me patiently waiting for the FL to meet the ML, finding out its guy to guy haahahahah! So naive! I don't even know boys love at that time. I'm just clicking random anime's looking for romance type so I think I didn't pay attention on the descriptions or comments. Then after liking its anime and manga, I became a Fujoshi. BAM! Long list of BL's on my phone. What is the very first BL you read? And rate it from 0-10
