Yes, that's what I was trying to say. I adore Las/Ras or whatever her name is now in the translations. ^_^ But I want to see more action from her using her mind and not just her magical ability. Honestly, I don't even care about the romance with the Emperor, he became useless to me after seeing my girl in action!! No insult gets taken lightly and she gives back as much, and probably more, as she received. Loved it!! But the story has, as you said, gotten stagnant, like the author doesn't know how to move our girl forward. Dealing with the concubines is fine, but she's supposed to Empress and using her abilities/memories to make her new country strong, she's gotten the trades, dealt with the boat, bomb threat, and a creepy Duke with penchant for live unwilling experiments. But there is more intrigue/struggle to be found in running a new country and trying to topple your former country. I need to see my girl working her brain and fire magic!! I'm still reading, but I want more from her and the plot. And Sang.
I really don't know what is happening anymore story wise. The multiple translated chapters by different groups plus characters name changes makes me wonder if panels are missing, especially since there's not a dedicated uploader for this series. If not, then the series has hit a wall. Yes, she's not supposed to be a pushover anymore, but a smart fiery avenger plotting against her family and those who tortured her. But we've barely seen her plotting!! We don't see her actively participating in bringing her homeland down using her position as Empress to work with the Emperor. Dealing with the concubines is one thing, but aren't they government hostages used for debts and trade? Stop burning them all and use your memories and brain to make them unnecessary like 4th (?) concubine. Lastly, I enjoy Sang, but, honestly I thought he'd play a bigger part in her life as someone akin to butler/spy/ informant mix. Now he's just background art wearing a muzzle. And remove that muzzle and give Sang a freaking facemask!!
