Not really. Winter needed someone in his life who would care enough to ask questions. Her not questioning him probably did some damage as well. “You really don’t care enough huh” if she was a present parent then your comment would be 100% true
My point was that, some parents who are not even present use their authority to dictate their child's life. It's the bare minimum but she had least didn't force him to do what a normal parent would. In no way I'm saying she's the perfect parent but again, my point is, she didn't force him to stay in school and all that.
Good that he had a mom who understood him in a way and respected his decisions. Not many parents would've agreed to let their child drop out of school to go into the entertainment Industry AND change their name. For a good reason ofc. But I like that she let him do what he wanted to. Also I'm glad ML is there for him.
