kamio is garai's divine spirit, because of what garai did his soul contract with tarupa broke and as a result became so twisted and irrational that it forgot its own name and ended up forming a contract with kamio even though he doesn't have garai's soul
I think jun is garai, but garai's soul has also become all polluted due to what he did so it is in an extremely confused state

jun = garai

I think ren was garai and jun, because he didn´t take his place, didn´t inherit all of garai´s memories. Because of the spell, that was prohibited, garai´s soul became fragmented and that´s why no one is truly garai (he would be -corrupted version-, after taking ren´s place -and with it tarupa´s jewel and those incomplete memories)

i would say that kamio is tarupa only because garai did that forbidden spell and corrupted his soul contract with tarupa, cause if he didn't do that then the kamio line's purpose to fuel live sacrifices to ren's barrier wouldn't have existed and garai would have been reborn normally, but he couldnt stand the thought of raki's soul being destroyed and thats how things ended up as they are
But Tarupa was corrupted that's why the incomplete memories. And Garai made a contract with Tarupa so they are different 'beings'.
That's true, but he became like that because Garai use forbidden act to keep raki's body but meaningless raki can't revive and trap in there.
But if Jun is reincarnation from Garai ,tough is to have,and kouichi is raki, then who is kamio?
