So I kinda agree, but I think the age does matter. They don’t state her age. So I mean if they meet when she’s 16-17 and he’s 22 (I think they previously established he was a genius young professor) that’s not too bad as long as she separates from him and has time apart before they get together. I agree if she’s totally reliant on him when the relationship starts it’s abusive. Going back to age though if she was like 10-12 when they met and he’s 32 then regardless of time apart I think it’s abusive. Also they kind of leave out a lot of details in the timeline. I mean it does not sound like they were living together at first. So like if he’s originally just a doctor that checks in with her at a facility for an hour a day and gives her a bit of tutoring during that time then when the government is going to cut her loose he agrees to let her live with him that’s still not great, but a bit different than basically grooming her. I guess what I’m really saying is it would absolutely not be okay in reality, but this is just a story so I’m gonna look at it in the best light and enjoy
I mean…16 is legally a child, at least where I’m from and in most places. Regardless of the details, he is essentially raising her, taking on a guardian/parental role. To me, it’s creepy if they get together. I mean if a foster parent gets placed with a 16-17 year old, it’s still creepy if they end up dating later on.
it depends really. if she's still 16 I'd agree with u. but looking at the progression, a lot of time has passed and they're both legal age now. She looks close to 20 in this art style. I don't think its creepy anymore since he only starting to feel smthg after she's a legal adult. even then, he's actually helping her leave on her own accord.
It's not like those creepy ass stories like ML watching over her since she was 5 or smthg. So I think its in the realm of acceptable. And at the end of the day, its a story and its wonderful that we can have different opinions about something
Eve and the professor better not get together. That is a child you raised sir. Let’s not make this creepy
