Thanks for the updates! Chapter 44 didn't get added, but I can get the general gist of what happened. I'm with Kei on this, Michitaka definitely isn't dead, the body found is probably someone elses.

Just finished reading chapter 44, and yeah I've gotten less optimistic on how he's doing.
