Stereotypically, girls have long eyelashes, bigger eyes, shorter stance & thin faces.
Therefore, the uke in the second manga looked like a female imo. Maybe not to you, but for me he did.

There are MEN who have long lashes and are short and have thin faces in real life though. There are also women with wide faces and tall and are big and have short eyelashes. Go out see the world more, you can see people of all sorts of appearances rather than just judging by stereotypes.
