Her mom abused her & made her dress like a boy, so she could look more like her father. In the novel she was sexually abused, because the mother was so obsessed with the father, that she took out her rage & obsession on Violette. Her father also mistreats her & ignored her all of her life, only showing love to the bastard he sired with the mistress. Given her childhood & past life trauma, I'm amazed she's still a somewhat mentally stable young women. She wants to be loved, in both lifetimes. But she's terrified of accidentally making the wrong decision & end up being disappointed, hurt, severely injured, or killed. So it's normal that she second guess all of her actions, & she's actually very smart & resilient. Which is why she's managed to survive, throughout her entire torturous ordeal.

I feel annoyed when reading this manga..yes violet is pitifull i feel bad for her..BUT why she act so wishy washy and cannot properly make up her damn mind...if you hate it then clearly say you hate it..but whyyyy you acting like thatt urghh she is stupid...i'm disapointed...
