spirits don’t possess the- ethics/morals that humans have because they’re fundamentally different.
I think the majority of the time spirits don’t care about humans other than their contractors. humans are ants, to a spirit why should a spirit care about some humans dying? a spirit probably can’t even tell humans apart- they all look the same. as long as the contractor is happy the spirit would probably gladly cause an apocalyptic flood if it means their contractors “problems” would go away. (￣∇￣")
