He's so spineless and his personality is all over the place. It's like the author doesn't care if he has a cohesive personality at all, the author will make him do anything as long as it can get the plot from point A to B. This is the kind of MC modelled after 90 's shoujo protagonists, who is a doormat, a saint and the bravest person all at the same time. Those shoujo girlies were definitely on crack and so were those authors (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
