Help, I'm so confused??

I'm quite sure the last time I read this it was toxic af and both the ml and red head were equally as bad. (last time i read this, it was incomplete and i remember a few things differently than the way they are now).

What I remember was the ml had never trusted the mc even till the last chapter i had read. The vocal teacher was hired to give lessons to the mc and help him improve when in reality he was hired to help damage the mc's voice over time without him noticing. The mc's vocal range did increase but his techniques were harmful. (The vocal teacher agreed to do this for revenge against the guy who poisoned him.) Ml did it so the mc would have nothing left. The ml wanted to take everything away from the mc to make the mc realise that he only needs the ml and that the ml will always be there for him.

So chapter 43 is when he coughs and realises that he caught a cold and goes through a break down. From this chapter forward is when things were different.

So after a month(?) of vocal lessons, the mc started to notice that his voice was changing. The vocal teacher convinces him that he may just be tired and that he should take some meds, drink some honey lemon tea and sleep it off. A few days go by and he still feels unwell, his throat felt itchy but he continued to ignore it, he took some meds, drank honey lemon tea and slept it off (not sure if drugs were mixed in the tea to further help damage his vocals).

Chap 43: Mc wakes up and finds out that he has lost his voice and his voice is hoarse and raspy. In this chap mc has a total break down and runs off to the red head guy.The ml was confused as to why the mc didn't run to him for help. The ml and mc meet, ml says he loves him no matter what and needs him. They go back together.

A few days later of the ml and mc being together, the ml leaves to go on a business trip. A few days go by and the mc is unable to get in contact with the ml and realises that he misses the ml. The ml returns and the mc becomes more clingy and confesses to the ml. The ml suggests the mc to move in with him which the mc agrees too.

The mc visits his vocal teacher to grab his stuff and give his thanks for everything that his teacher had done until now. Mc is having a talk with his teacher and saying how he will give up on singing and that it's okay if he never accomplishes his dreams, he talks about how he is thankful for his teacher and that the teacher felt like family to him. The teacher started to feel guilty and confessed everything to the mc (Like EVERYTHING). He told the mc about his past, why he was hired and why he did it. He also exposed the ml's true nature and the ml's other jobs. He told the mc about how the ml is manipulating everything like the auditions, his debut, and that the ml had intentionally disappeared to make the mc realise that he is lonely and has no one. (The mc constantly tried to contact the ml but the ml ignored it to punish the mc. This made the mc realise how he ''loves'' the ml and needs him. The ml was at his secret location beating some ppl up) His teacher said to the mc that he should run away b4 things become worse. The mc unable to process anything quickly got up and headed for the door where he had encountered the ml.

That was the last chapter i had read b4 the uploads stopped.

The red head guy does tell the mc that the ml knew about dolph still being alive and that the ml made the red head dude keep quiet about it. He also explains to the mc about the things that the ml had done.

what happened next

That was the last chapter I remember reading before the uploads had stopped lol. It was somewhere around 2-3 years ago. I was wondering why the uploads had stopped but it seems they scrapped the majority of the toxic part of the story and characters and replaced it with this.

This is why when Harold said ''The ml is just as bad'' as him, there was a clear reason why. However it doesn't have as much meaning/impact to it anymore because the ml's character was changed.

Before the change, you could tell that they were pushing for Weon lee to be the ml. But after that chapter no one was sure who the ml would be or how the story would come to an end. The story reached a point where any ending was possible. However they still wanted for Weon to be ml which is most likely why everything had been rewritten.

Honestly seems like the only reason they pushed for Weon to be ml is because he is rich and has a past with mc. Yuda (Harold's band mate) was my pick for ml, otherwise I wouldn't have wanted for mc to end up with anyone.

I'm still sad asf about Dolph.

true , i really wanted to see dolph waking from the coma and recovering quick and pursuing his dream as a singer , sadly that was not the case even in the last chapter

Yes, I also wished for a side story about Dolph and it would make sense for him to get a side story because of how important his character is/was but because the ending feels rushed, you kind of get the feeling that they don't intend for a side story or extra chapters. It's disappointing but, Dolph has his own story and happy ending in my book
