I know rape and all that unholy shit the ml has been doing to the mc is extremely not healthy but what can we do, the author likes to do shitty ass plots like these. The plot honestly doesn’t bother me coz I know what’s right and what’s not, and this is a BL comic. Shit like this happens all the fucking time and if you’ve read too much BL, it’s become immune to you already.
A person is allowed to have opinions?? Now it may not be positive and may be criticism as well however in this case criticism is valid.
No one here owns the comment section. One can't just ask the other to stop commenting or reading just because they don't like it, it's their choice. Just as the fact that you're continuing to read it is.
If you are allowed to read and defend bullcrap others are allowed to call it out as. Well
No one owns the comments section?? No one ones the comments section? Have you told THAT to your fellow haters?? They are silencing the real target audience because they are losers.
Haters/ trolls/ cyber bullies once I am mistreated or it is known they are haters loses my respect. Blame the other haters. They will be met with their own toxic behavior in a more constructive manner. Speaking their language.
I am not hostile. I just don’t like this story. But because I was different I was attacked by haters and I decided to stand up to haters.

I said the same thing, it’s delusional and just reaching if you ask people to stop commenting and like stop hating the plot, cause they won’t stop, it’s just how it is they won’t stop reading they don’t stop commenting, but then some hurt soul start calling me an idiot and a waste of space and tried to make it seem like I’m hating on people and condoning rape or something, I didn’t even get it. I was very confused. Cause it was suppose to be sarcasm but I guess that didn’t fly .
Im trying to say that its not desensitation to rape the leads ppl to still be able to read and have fum with jinx. Ennead and Jinx both contain rape but maybe bc of the way its handled ppl tend to ignore one as purely fictional while the other ppl sympathize with more bc of the way its handled thematically. Essentially we havent killed our emotions more like we can regconize when its taken seriously in the story and when we should apply irl morals and mechanics to it and where.
Alot of ppl let murder and stuff slide in manhwas but wouldnt irl; in other situations they'd apple real world morality about murder to a story. It all depends on the story really and not so much desensitiation and being used to something or not in stories.
Tldr: desensitation is not the word to use here.
Oh i can understand what you mean now, so the way in which its presented sort of varies your reaction to it. Like if its not meant to seem realistic and string-pulling its harder to sympathise compared to something oresented in a way intented to be melancholic and upsetting. I can get that, i always try to keep the mentality that no matter how they present it, there are exceptions like Kaya senseis work, a rape to love is wrong and i point it out haha. Its repeating the same verse but it does stick better, thanks for clearing it up.
In as much as that’s very true, I’d like to add that there are some people who can’t differentiate or separate fiction from reality due to traumatic experience they’ve faced or seen, so comments like this maybe triggering for them and there isn’t much you, I or someone who can separate and have clear distinctions between fiction and reality can do about it. In such situation what would you suggest should be done, just out of curiosity, I’m asking? Cause people keep saying it’s not real so don’t throw so much hate, it’s what the author likes and stuff like that, right? But I’m sure that people like Jk/ Kim Dan exist and maybe a person or someone somewhere has infact experienced this, maybe not a detailed relationship like this but something similar, and may find this upsetting and feel the need to bring to peoples attention about it by thinking they’re insensitive or have read so much of this stories they no longer view this as something that should be taken serious hence the “desensitization” tag. How would you in your own opinion address such a situation. Tanchu
I think if I had traumatizing experiences like got rape or got bullied, I will probably keep myself away from those things because those will just make me even more depressed. I mean, why read or watch something you are traumatized of? I’m bad at explaining but if the comment I posted was rather insensitive to others who had these experiences, then I sincerely apologize.
I think the best thing people can do is just tag things if they think theres gonna be a certain triggering factor in a manga. I've seen some scanlation groups for example put a warning before each chapter and stating associated warnings. That or people will tag a story and comment if theres something that may upset people.
Having a system that adequately prepares you by saying "hey this story may not be for you" would be good.
I know its easy to just wanna look at stories without looking at the opinions of others or skipping warnings but you need to know how to protect yourself. I've personally been burned by a couple that I refuse to read again and I've started checking summaries or comments.
Just like don't automatically come in the comments and start screaming "what is wrong with everyone here why are yall enjoying this youre morally wrong." You're not gonna get a warm welcome if you start insulting people.
Tfw people are going mad over the plot but still keeps reading and me just keeping quiet over everything. Guys if you can’t take it anymore, just stop reading and leave. We already know the author likes to do shit like these, so why y’all hating it.
