Big brother?

I really hope he means "big brother" like what younger boys call older boys when they are kids, like 'sempai' or the Korean 'oppa' (I can even swing a step bro or non-blood related bro)...
...but PLEASE DON'T HAVE THEM BE BLOOD-RELATED BROTHERS PLEASE

LOl yes that's what he meant. no worries there. he wasn't his blood sibling LOL it's just the same thing as sempai but "onii-chan" instead. some meaning gets distorted when translated LOL

It's from a few chapters back. The kid his father beat up because he made a mistake. He called him oniichan/aniki/big brother since he was older.

Here, we are shown that he finally remembers him and how he 'saved' him.
