He really likes the doc but doesnt understand his own feelings.
He is trying to burn his presence into doc Dan. Kind of like a child picking on the one they like.
Claiming ownership because he cant accept that he might have feelings for him (or doesnt understand those feelings).

He's just being a total dck

I think the say you view his violence is pretty strange.
He likes doc Dan but is too prideful and emotionally detached to admit it.
He wants to be someone important to Dan but instead of being mature and expressing his feelings he resorts to abusive behaviours and sexual violence.
He calls dan his 'possesion', dehumanises and humilates him all to try to cope with his alarming fear that Dan will leave him and to keep Heesung away.

I rephrased what you said, im sure there are reasons behind why his behaviours are like this but in the end he is the sole perpetrator who is destroying his relationship with Dan. Most abusers have experienced abuse before but that doesnt make them any better whatsoever and whether they have or havent experienced abuse isnt so important because in the end they chose to commit the crimes they did. We can find explanations behind Jaekyungs actions but we cannot justify his choices though things like a sympathetic backstory. No matter how much youve suffered you have no right to abuse others. Anybody can be a victim but it is a choice to be a perpatrator.

As you mentioned that Jaekyung is a character. But he is a character with least bits of personality traits revealed. The only thing noticable is that he's abusive and a sexual harasser and gave Dan money. Obviously people are going to shame and point fingers at someone that likes characters with so much negative points.
