I feel the book has revealed to us that Jk is not a nice person. So when I see comments saying JK should treat Dan better, I find it stupid because Jk isn't that typical green flag that can just change overnight. People need to understand his character and expect these kinds of things.

I also feel a lot of people are overlooking his character development because there's abuse. Jk is slowly changing. He probably doesn't know what he's feeling for our baby and is trying to understand his feelings. He doesn't know how to act on his feelings and does it the only unreasonable way possible. It should also be some kind of trauma because some of his behaviours aren't even normal.

Chapter 34 has shown us how possessive Jk can be. He's simply dominating what's his, he's giving that “show and tell” vibe. I mean you won't foresee less from an MMA fighter. Let's be ffr.

I think he will slowly change for the better, but overall, he has already changed. The thing op said is just jaekyung's personality and nothing else. He already hated Dan and wanted to make sure about it. The main reason he did all of that for Dan because his body satisfied him longer than anyone did which helped with his jinx.

Jk normally has flings, according to the book, he sleeps with different people every time. So the fact that he's settled with Dan is also a sign that he's interested in Dan. I've never seen someone claim a sex partner to this extent, isnt it bizarre to go to such lengths of dominance just to claim what's his? There's definitely something there. He might not be able to express his feelings well but he'll get there for sure.

Jk has started becoming considerate of Dan, although, I think he's still new to the feeling since this recent chapter he just did whatever unreasonable thing that came to his head. It seems he also thought about what he was gonna do for quite some time. Jk wants Dan so feel good when they're having sex( when he grabbed Dan’s d and started stroking him is a sign of consideration of the partner during sex. It also proves that his intention isn't pain or no consent(rape) or when he asked Dan if he liked the toy…come on.

The fact that Dan always complained about his grandma to Jk and Jk went himself to accompany Dan’s grandma is just top-tier and goddamn sweet.

Why do you think the author didn't give a warning sign on rape? Because rape is not what the author intended. It's simply an abusive relationship.

I also feel Jk is very poor at recognising emotions. He doesn't know if Dan enjoys it because Dan never voices his thoughts. Dan always takes it all without his partner knowing. Dan is also at fault.

In the second chapter the first guy jaekyung had fucked with clearly stated that they had been hooking up for months now.
He stayed with Dan just because his body is good. Simple words put his hole is tight and enough to satisfy Joo.

At the starting there was no foreplay between Joo and Dan it was only after Dan fainted after having sex with him after he almost got raped by those 3 guys that he started foreplay because of the suggestion of the doctor because he didn't want Dan to faint mid sex.
Maybe there has been a few changes but it isn't big enough to call character development.
