nah I fully understand where they're coming from but we're 34 chapters in. I've never seen the topic section this aggressive before or I just never paid attention till now. This is gonna be a longer manga than the author's other BJ Alex and quite frankly I'm more curious about the comment section than the story itself now

Honestly same. Sangwoo from Killing Stalking was a literal murderer and I feel like Joo Jaekyung gets more hate than Sangwoo. But I guess people loved BJ Alex so much and are comparing the two and because they had so many positive feelings from BJ Alex that they were expecting the same feelings from Jinx. Also, I feel like Painter of the Night didn't get as much hate as Jinx and they had a similar premise of abusive seme with the poor and naive uke. I really think the BJ Alex comparison and the disappointment of it not being how they turned out is the fuel for more hate than usual.
It’s fiction yea and that’s why for 33 chapters I was like “tf? but okay… let’s see where this goes” however this episode hits very differently. many of us had like a body reaction to it because what he’s doing to Dan (whom the author has fleshed out so well that he comes across as very relatable and likable; and remember people experience the story through eyes of MC) is so fucking repulsive.

Some have a problem with this manhwa and have decided for everybody here, it’s everybody’s problem. Which is a problem for everybody, except for those who have decided it’s only a problem for those who have a problem with it. But THEN you get those who have a problem with those who don’t have a problem with it and they’re the ones causing problems. I think (⊙…⊙ )

Lol what they are saying is that there were people at the start that from the get-go had issues with the manhwa and they let everyone know that they didn't like it. SO people Love to follow others opinions and suddenly everyone followed the opinion that they hated the characters etc. .. and there are others like me who don't really see the issue with the manhwa. But the people who dont like the manhwa dont like when some of us dont agree with their opinions..... hopefully I didn't make it more complicated lol
Yeah I see where you are coming from and yeah JK exposed Dan to heesung w/out his consent, and I'm sure Dan will find out one day but I think everyone is taking it too much to heart. Like I love Dan's character and yeah it sucks the JK just does whatever he likes to Dan. And I do think you make a point that since the author has made Dan so likeable everyone jumps at the sight of Dan getting humiliated...
They just need to make themselves feel morally superior. I doubt theyve actually done anything for real life survivors of SA.
Because other toxic bl didn't play humiliation card too much like Jinx did. Jinx play it like a master card. From talk remark down to straightly humiliate KD in front of another character. People find it hard to swallow by this type of behavior. Apparently humiliation not everybody kinks. Rape might can be tolerated since the uke looks kind of enjoying it, not all just hurting. But humiliation by making uke feel less self worth and being humiliated in front of other without even knowing?
This is a bitter pill.
