This should have been titled “Everyone Wants My Fiancé,” because not only was the queen interested in this man the ML’s step-sister and the FL step-sister were too!
We could’ve spent more time on what she was doing before she reunited with her man and how the pair even fell in love in the first place. How the conceived Patrick before even marrying and how much the Percy suffered believing she was dead.
In the end, 50 chapters of this story was just the reader seeing the FL struggle to tell anyone the truth. Only to spend another 20 chapters exposing said truth just for both culprits to not have their dirty laundry aired out. One just dies and the other is sent to a church to live as a nun. While the Queen just lefts the ML quit his job with no hint of trying to reflect on her own actions.
The main characters sort of get there happily ever after? Though it doesn’t feel like “the end,” just “alright we’re done,”
