I can't tell if all the misinformation is legit part of the story or just inaccurate translations. Please don't assume you'll lose muscle just from doing cardio/aerobic exercises. I've always been muscular / bulky and despite my best efforts to attain a cute, slim (unrealistic) anime-like body when I was a teen, the only thing speed-walking, jogging, elliptical machines, and other similar workouts ever did was make me healthier and fitter--which is awesome but yeah. My legs, biceps, neck, shoulders, etc. never stopped being muscular. The only thing that ever resulted in muscle loss was injuring my knee and having to keep off my feet for 3 months. I basically hobbled around on the one good leg and the difference between the two became so great that I started calling one leg "Bruce Banner" and the other "The Hulk". 0/10 would not recommend, haha.

you're right. The only reason cardio can make you lose muscle is if you burn more calories than you eat and don't get enough protein.

Obviously, that can happen way easier if you do both muscle training and cardio regurlaly. However, it's not a must if you watch what you eat or have good genetics. In conclusion, it's not entirely false but it's not right either. Especially without context.
